Advanced Police Concepts- Interview and Interrogation
This highly reviewed 2-day course focuses on building rapport and elements of the cognitive and PEACE model of interview, designed to obtain more information and obtain better descriptions. Legal aspects are highlighted, emphasizing avoiding coercion and false confession. We also teach strategies for suspect interviews, including presenting evidence, empathetic interviews, and delivering themes to encourage disclosure. Our proven methods are taught by current law enforcement officers, and video clips showing real interrogations, CONDUCTED BY OUR INSTRUCTORS, will be used to help the student better understand what we teach and to show that the strategies work.
