DESCRIPTION:This highly reviewed 2-day course focuses on building rapport and elements of the cognitive and PEACE model of interview\, designed to obtain more information and obtain better descriptions. Legal aspects are highlighted\, emphasizing avoiding coercion and false confession. We also teach strategies for suspect interviews\, including presenting evidence\, empathetic interviews\, and delivering themes to encourage disclosure.
